Thank you for registering for CARD's Youth Sports Camp. Please review the below information carefully to ensure you and your campers are set up for success! You will not receive additional email reminders about camp, as everything you need is below.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, participants should be comfortable transitioning between activities, ready for a loud and fun environment, prepared to always stay with the group, and excited for time away from family in our engaging program.

Campers should bring a backpack with the following daily. All other personal belongings should stay at home.

  • An extra set of clothes

Campers should also arrive at camp with a layer of sunscreen already on them (and hats are always encouraged).

PRO TIP! We have found our participants have the most success at drop-off if parents create a "good-bye ritual" with their child: Give those last hugs and kisses, and tell them you can’t wait to see them after the program. Instead of lingering during drop-off, following through on your "ritual" and heading out to your day is best.

IMPORTANT! Who is an authorized Pick-Up? Only people who were noted as authorized to pick up during the registration process will be allowed to pick up a camper during pick up. For the safety of the participants, all people picking up will be asked to show their ID to confirm their name is on the "authorized pick up" list. If you need to add anyone else to the camper's “authorized pick up” list after registration, please complete the  “Pick Up Authorization Add Form” and bring it to camp.

Rules and Expectations

CARD programs are committed to being safe and enjoyable places for all. In general, all campers are expected to follow the below behavior expectations. Our programs maintain ratios and are not designed for one-on-one care. Staff may remove a child from the program for recurring behavioral concerns or extreme situations. A Program Behavior Notification will be reviewed with the guardian at pick-up if a camper does not meet our participant expectations.

  • Be Safe (includes staying with the group, keeping hands and feet to themselves)
  • Be Respectful (includes listening and following directions, using appropriate language, being kind to others, using equipment properly)
  • Be Responsible (includes using the restroom independently/no bathroom accidents, keeping track of personal items, telling the truth)
  • A Program Behavioral Notificiation will be reviewed with the guaridan at pick- up if a camper does not meet our participant expectations. Click here to review the Sports Camp's Behavioral Management system.

Code of Conduct: To ensure the safety of all children and staff in our programs, individuals are responsible for adhering to the program rules and policies whenever they are in the program. This includes using appropriate language, a civil tone of voice, a calm demeanor, respecting personal space, and maintaining professional boundaries. Any person who does not meet conduct expectations will be asked to leave the premises immediately, and the participant may be removed from the program.

Attendance: CARD does not have attendance requirements; your child may attend days/hours as needed. Camp will not be prorated for missed days. CARD staff will not confirm unexplained absences.

Electronics & Personal Belongings: Please keep all personal belongings (including toys, stuffed animals, etc) at home. Electronic devices, including cell phones and personal gaming devices, may not be used while attending the program. Please label your child’s belongings, such as jackets and backpacks. CARD is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Photo/Video Release: CARD reserves the right to photograph and video record activities and program participants for potential promotional purposes.

Health Updates: Participant and staff safety is our top priority. We cannot guarantee a sickness-free environment. By enrolling, you accept the risk of exposure. Keep your child home if they show any symptoms of illness. You must pick them up immediately if they become ill during the program. Please notify staff if your child has been exposed to any contagious disease or condition, such as COVID-19, chickenpox, lice, mumps, or measles so that we can notify other parents immediately.
