Budding Buddies

CARD’s Parent/Tot programs can be an exciting and fun opportunity for you and your child to improve current skills, learn new skills, make friends, and have fun. This is also an opportunity for us to create a parenting community and share development milestones.

Not only are our classes an excellent bonding opportunity for you and your child, but they are an excellent way to meet new friends, introduce your child to other children, and find others who will support you through the exciting adventure of parenthood.

Do I need to stay with my child during class? Yes. Each program is formatted as an adult/child class with the goal of giving guardians an opportunity to bond, and meet other parents/guardians who have children the same age as theirs.

Location: Dorothy F. Johnson Center, 775 East 16th St- when arriving, enter the playground area adjacent to the building.

Step into the vibrant world of Budding Buddies! Join us and your little one in the specially curated toddler classroom at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center for an enriching playtime experience. Led by our dynamic Toddler Director, Ms. Dallas, each session promises a delightful blend of circle time melodies, engaging activities, and captivating story sessions.

Embark on a journey of creativity with weekly crafts, explore the wonders of hands-on activities, and dive into imaginative play setups crafted just for you and your little explorers. Beyond the joyous bonding moments between adult and child, our classes offer a welcoming space to forge new friendships, introduce your child to peers, and build a supportive community to accompany you through the thrilling adventure of parenthood.

Embark on a journey of fun-filled exploration with Budding Buddies at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center's specially crafted toddler haven! Join us for an enchanting blend of play and fun under the guidance of our extraordinary Toddler Director, Ms. Dallas.

Each week, we will delve into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) with hands-on experiences carefully designed to ignite curiosity and inspire young minds.

These sessions are not just about play—they're about forging precious bonds between adult and child, creating cherished memories, and fostering a sense of community among fellow adults. Come join us on this exhilarating journey through parenthood, where every moment is infused with laughter, learning, and the joy of discovery.
