At CARD, we partner with local organizations and individuals who bring programming to our community. There are two primary ways we define these partnerships. The first is through our Contract Instructors, and the second is through our Contract Programs. This page shares details on both options.
Becoming a Contract Instructor:
Do you have skills or knowledge you're excited to share? Want to earn extra income while doing something you love? CARD makes it easy! We handle the promotion, registrations, and administrative work – you focus on teaching what you’re great at.
Why teach with CARD? Here are some of the benefits:
- Set your own schedule – plan and teach classes that fit into your life
- We handle advertising and promotion to ensure your class gets noticed
- Teach from the comfort of your own home via Zoom or in-person (if preferred)
- Earn 60-70% of program fees – your skills, your income
- CARD manages all the paperwork, registration, and student enrollment, so you can focus on teaching
- We welcome class proposals for all age groups, from kids to adults

- Cooking & Baking
- Dance & Movement
- Music & Performance
- Health & Fitness
- Nature & Outdoor Activities
- Self-care & Emotional Wellness
- Youth Camps

Hosting a Contract Program:
Do you provide classes or camps at an independent studio or space? Interested in sharing your classes or camps with our community? Contract Programs are a great way to enhance program visibility and increase registrations.
Why host your program with CARD? Here are some of the benefits:
- Set your class schedules – plan and teach classes that fit into your individual business model
- Collaborative advertising and promotion to ensure your organization gets noticed.
- Earn 70% of program fees on registrations that take place within the CARD platform
We accept proposals for a wide range of classes, including but not limited to:
- Dance
- Gymnastics
- Sports Clinics
- Art Studios
- Education
- Youth Camps
Proposal Requirements for Contract Programs & Instructor Programs:
- Instructor Bio(s) - Why should people take classes from you or your organization?
- Class descriptions, days of the week and times, age groups, participant cost, maximum and minimum number of participants, duration of sessions, and any materials needed.
- Website link(s) - Show us examples of classes you currently teach or have taught in the past.
Proposals are reviewed biweekly. Please allow ample time for a member of our team to follow up.

Below are the final steps after classes are approved by CARD:

Complete a W-9 Form
This is necessary for tax purposes. You'll also need to choose your preferred method of payment:- Direct Deposit
- Check Mailed to You
- Check Picked Up at the CARD Office

Secure General Liability Insurance
You’ll need to provide proof of insurance with CARD listed as “additionally insured” on the policy. -
Live Scan Background Check for each Individual
All instructors are required to undergo a background check. The cost is $32, which will be deducted from your first paycheck. -
Sign the Program or Instructor Contract Agreement
After reviewing, you’ll need to sign a contract via Adobe to finalize the process.
