Administration
- Full-Time, Exempt

- Provides strategic leadership, direction, and comprehensive administrative oversight for the Recreation Division, including the staff responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating the District's recreational programs. This includes ensuring inclusive services and leisure activities for community members of all ages and abilities. The role requires significant community engagement and interaction with elected officials, policymakers, and the public. As a member of the District’s Senior Leadership Team, this position collaborates with the General Manager and other Divisions to align strategy and policy with the District’s mission and core values, ensuring their integration into all operational activities and services.
After School Program
- Seasonal, Hourly
- $16.00/hr
- Position open until filled
- After School Program Recreation Leaders will assist children in grades 1-5 with academics, plan and facilitate structured activities, and create a safe and fun environment. We are looking for applicants who enjoy and have experience working with children, are energetic, positive role models, responsible, and have strong group management skills. Applicants must be able to work independently with a group of 15 children and ensure their wellbeing.
Parks
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- $27.33 - $36.62/hr

- Under the general direction of a Park Supervisor or Utility II, the Utility I performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks maintaining, modifying, building, and repairing park structures, equipment, facilities, and grounds.
Internship
- Seasonal, Hourly
- $16.00/hr

- Gain professional experience with a special recreation and park district in Northern California. There are two intern positions available - One working primarily in Recreation Programming and one in primarily Parks and Facilities Management.
- Applicants whose experience and training are most closely suited to the needs of CARD will be selected for interviews. Criteria will be based on knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position.
