Become a Youth Leader- lead the way, inspire young minds, and grow as a leader! 

Children know something that some adults may have forgotten...art is fun!! Children naturally approach art with a freedom and curiosity that makes art enjoyable. It is a privilege as a teacher to encourage this joy of learning and growth through artistic exploration and expression. During these art classes, we spend time drawing and painting, using various mediums such as pencil, colored pencil, and watercolor. We may also use tempura paint, acrylic paint, and collage for various projects and crafts.

A fun, skill focused class introducing foundational gymnastics moves and equipment. Students build strength, flexibility, and coordination through drills, conditioning, and stretching. Classes may end with an engaging game when time allows. Progression classes available for continued growth.

Ballet 1 is a foundational class designed for young dancers ready to build on basic movement skills and begin formal ballet training. Students are introduced to fundamental ballet terminology, positions, and simple barre and center work in a structured yet encouraging environment

ART SAVES LIVES. And art can make you a living! Pedal Press founders Cathryn and Julia have held youth-led spaces for young people to explore their creative power for ten years now with Pedal Press, an artmaking, youth-focused community organization. No prior experience necessary; just be curious and ready to experiment, and we'll give you the support you need to find your creative flow. We'll explore a variety of art media and printmaking, with the optional goal of creating work to sell at a semester's-end pop-up market. We'll support you in going from idea to creation, and then to market, with YOU making the choices from start to finish.
