Thank you for your interest in vending at Chico Recreation & Park District (CARD) parks and events. This application is required for all food vendors seeking approval to operate at CARD-owned parks, facilities, or events. 

Submission of this application does not guarantee approval or event placement. 

Approved vendors must comply with all requirements outlined in the CARD Food Vendor Policies & Application Guidelines.

Vendor Categories & Fee Structure: 

Year-Long Food Vendor Permit (Special Events & General Park Vending):

This permit is required for food vendors seeking approval to vend at CARD-owned parks (excluding DeGarmo Park) and to be considered for participation in CARD-hosted special events (e.g., Kite Day, Movies in the Park, Spring Jamboree) during the calendar year.

- $100 annual fee (one-time payment for the calendar year)

- Fee applies even if vending at only one event

- Fees will not be accepted before vendor approval.

Rental / Third-Party Event Food Vendors (One-time Permits):

Food vendors hired directly by individuals or organizations hosting private or permitted events at CARD parks or facilities. These vendors do not pay CARD vendor fees but must meet all documentation and approval requirements.

- No vendor fee required by CARD

*Important note:  Approval through CARD does not guarantee vending permission at events that are not organized by CARD, even if they take place at a CARD-owned park. For non-CARD events, you must obtain approval directly from the event coordinator hosting the event. CARD’s approval only confirms your eligibility to vend on CARD property.
