The Janeece Webb Living Animal Museum at the Chico Creek Nature Center honors the incredible legacy of Janeece Webb, a dedicated environmental educator and passionate advocate for wildlife and nature. As a longtime director of the Nature Center, Janeece played a pivotal role in shaping its mission, securing funding, and overseeing the construction of the facility that continues to inspire visitors today.

Named in her memory, the Living Animal Museum provides a home for rescued, non-releasable animals while offering hands-on educational experiences for all ages. Through interactive exhibits and up-close encounters, visitors can learn about the native wildlife of Bidwell Park and the importance of conservation—values that Janeece championed throughout her life.

Her tireless efforts and unwavering dedication to environmental education live on through this space, ensuring future generations develop a deep appreciation for the natural world.
