Junior Chefs (Ages 8-12)

Junior Chefs, it’s time to get cooking! Join us in the newly renovated Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen. Each week, we’ll whip up sweet and savory creations while practicing kitchen skills, trying new ingredients, and having plenty of fun along the way!

Along the way, participants will develop basic cooking skills, learn teamwork, and build friendships through engaging games, crafts, and shared experiences. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, encourage independence, and make learning in the kitchen exciting and accessible for all skill levels.

CARD Homeschool Baking Club

Preheat the oven and bring your creativity! Join the CARD Homeschool Baking Club in the newly renovated Dorothy F. Johnson Center kitchen. Each week, we’ll mix, measure, bake, and decorate a new sweet treat while exploring ingredients, techniques, and the delicious science behind baking.
