“We couldn’t be more excited to kick off the aquatics season with such a fun and unique event,” said Andrés Corrales, Recreation Supervisor. “The Aquatics Team has been working hard to get everything ready, and we can’t wait to welcome the community back to the pool. PV Pool is a true hidden gem—we hope more people discover how awesome it is!”
The Dive-In Movie is just the beginning! Starting June 9 through August 16, CARD will offer a variety of aquatics programming at Pleasant Valley Pool, including Lap Swim, Rec Swim, Family Swim, and Friday Teen Swims. There will also be a second Dive-In Movie Night on Saturday, July 5th featuring Moana 2. The pool is conveniently located next to Bidwell Junior High—perfect for families and swimmers of all ages.
Additionally, Sycamore Pool—the iconic pool built right into the creek at One Mile Recreation Area—will be staffed with CARD lifeguards from June 8 through August 18, with additional weekend coverage before and after those dates.
