Instructions for Using Charter School Funds to Register for CARD Activities

If you’re a parent using charter school funds (via a Purchase Order or Service Voucher), here’s how to register your child for our programs. We require a valid Purchase Order or Service Voucher to complete your child’s enrollment. We can’t process your registration without a valid Purchase Order or Service Voucher. 

Please Note: Enrollment is not guaranteed if your registration and PO are submitted after the registration deadline or if the program fills before we receive both items.

There are two ways to do this:

Option 1: Over the Phone 

• If you have not already, please create a Rec Account
• Once a PO is received, the Customer Service Team will reach out to complete enrollment over the phone. 
• You can reach out to the Customer Service Team with any inquiries at info@chicorec.gov or (530)895-4711 ext. 0. 

Option 2: Register and Pay Online First

• Go to rec.us/chicorec and register/pay online.
• Submit your Purchase Order or Service Voucher later (from either the parent or the school).
• Once we receive the Purchase Order or Service Voucher, we’ll reimburse your payment and invoice the school instead.
• If we don't receive a Purchase Order or Service Voucher, you will not be reimbursed.
