After School Sewing Class 

Develop the dynamic life skill of sewing! After school lessons teach basic sewing machine usage and proficiency. Students improve fine motor skills, follow patterns and instructions, solve construction puzzles and create with textiles.  Fall, winter and spring sessions include various projects such as bags, pillows, hats, slippers, pajama pants, stuffies, shirts, hoodies and more. Projects expand as time, interest and skill level grow.

Sewing machines and other tools are included in the participant fee.  However students are highly encouraged to bring their own standard size sewing machine. Parents are responsible for fabric, thread and miscellaneous notions such as zippers, elastic, buttons, etc.
