CARD’s Beloved Brunch with Santa Expands to Two Days of Holiday Magic
November 3, 2025

The Chico Area Recreation and Park District is bringing back Brunch with Santa this year and for the first time, it's happening over two days instead of one.
Families can spend the morning with Santa on Saturday or Sunday, December 6 and 7, at the CARD Community Center. Guests will enjoy a full buffet brunch prepared by Roots Catering, meet Santa for their annual holiday photo, and explore Santa’s Village — a winter wonderland featuring holiday crafts, a scavenger hunt in the rose garden, and a cozy hot cocoa bar.
“Brunch with Santa always sells out so fast,” said Lindsey Barrett, CARD Public Outreach Specialist. "We're excited to extend it to two days this year so more families can join in."
CARD also offers a Calm & Cozy Seating option each day. This sensory-friendly time slot provides a quieter, more relaxed environment with softer lighting, smaller crowds, and a patient approach to meeting Santa — ensuring every child can enjoy the holiday experience at their own pace.
Brunch with Santa is made possible thanks to the support of local sponsors, including Gold Sponsor Members 1st Credit Union. To learn more about sponsorship opportunities for CARD events, visit www.chicorec.gov/sponsor.
