The Chico Ice Rink, a beloved centerpiece of downtown Chico’s holiday festivities, is returning this season and offering unique sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and organizations. Operating seven days a week from November through January (exact dates to be announced), the rink draws thousands of visitors from Butte County and beyond, making it a powerful way to connect with the community.

Sponsorship levels range from $500 to $20,000, offering a variety of benefits including brand recognition on rink signage, social media, CARD newsletters, and marketing materials. Higher-level sponsors enjoy exclusive perks such as naming rights, custom ad space, and even a private company party at the rink.

“The Chico Ice Rink is where families and friends come together to celebrate the holiday season, and it’s an incredible opportunity for businesses to align their brand with that holiday feeling,” said Amy Alvarez, Chico Area Recreation & Park District’s new Engagement & Sponsorship Specialist. “With thousands of people skating and visiting the rink each year, sponsors will gain amazing visibility while supporting a community tradition.”

Downtown Chico businesses are eligible for a special discounted sponsorship rate, created exclusively to highlight and support local establishments. This package includes dasher board advertising, complimentary tickets to our sponsor night event, and recognition on CARD’s website and social media.
