The Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD) is excited to officially turn on the water at the new Splash Pad at Chapman Park, located at 775 E 16th Street in Chico. Starting Monday, May 13th, the water at the splash pad will run daily from 9 AM–8 PM through the summer.

The Splash Pad is a fantastic addition to Chapman Park, offering a safe and enjoyable water play area for children of all ages. Featuring several fun water elements such as spray features, an acorn dump bucket, and a bear climbing feature generously donated by the Rotary Club of Chico.

"We are ecstatic to celebrate the opening of the splash pad," said CARD General Manager Annabel Grimm. "This addition will provide a fun and safe space for families to enjoy outdoor water play during the summer months."
