Team Manager

Welcome to the Team Manager Circle!
Thank you for stepping up to lead your team this season! As an Adult Sports Team Manager, you are more than just a point of contact; you are a vital partner with CARD. You are the "bridge" between the game and the sidelines, helping us create a high-quality, competitive, and respectful environment for our community.
We are thrilled to have you on our team!
Your Role as a Leader
To keep the focus where it belongs, on the game, we rely on you to be the sole authorized voice for your team.
- Consistency is Key: If you can’t make it to a game, simply designate a teammate to step in. Whoever joins our staff for the pre-game huddle will be our "go-to" leader for that match.
- Constructive Communication: We value your insights! Respectful, clarifying questions are always welcome. To keep things positive, please ensure communication focuses on clarity rather than criticism or protest.
- Setting the Tone: You are the captain of your team’s culture. By managing the conduct of your players and spectators, you ensure sportsmanship remains our top priority.
- The Game-Day Huddle: Knowledge is power! You (or a designated representative) will meet with the on-site lead and officials 5–10 minutes before every game to sync up and get the game off to a great start.
The Power of One Voice: To maintain a professional atmosphere, you are the only person authorized to communicate with officials and CARD staff. Please help your players and fans understand that they should not approach or engage with staff directly.
