Don Heffren

Heffren Field is named in honor of Don Heffren, a Chico resident whose passion for youth sports left a lasting mark on the community. Don was actively involved with the Butte Youth Soccer League, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to growing the game and providing opportunities for young athletes. Following his passing in 1999 at the age of 50, the field was named to commemorate his dedication to youth soccer and his positive influence on generations of players.
