Go behind the scenes at the Chico Creek Nature Center's Living Animal Museum  (LAM) in this exciting new homeschool program! Animal Care 101 offers participants a hands-on introduction to what it takes to care for our incredible animal ambassadors.

Throughout the program, participants will meet a variety of the LAM's animal ambassadors while learning the fundamentals of animal care, including daily husbandry, habitat maintenance, enrichment, nutrition, and animal behavior. They'll also discover why each animal calls the Nature Center home and the important role they play in helping us educate the community about wildlife conservation.

Designed for curious learners and animal enthusiasts, this interactive program provides a unique opportunity to explore the responsibilities of caring for a diverse collection of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates while gaining a deeper appreciation for the work that happens behind the scenes every day.
