CARD’s 63rd Annual Spring Jamboree Returns to Caper Acres

CHICO, CA — Spring is in the air, and it’s time to hop into the fun! The Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD) invites the community to its 63rd annual Spring Jamboree on Saturday, March 28, from 10 AM–1 PM at Caper Acres.

This free, family-favorite event brings Chico together for a morning of playful activities and seasonal celebration. Families can enjoy spring crafts, classic games, bounce houses, and an exciting scavenger hunt throughout the park. Be sure to stop by for a photo with the Easter Bunny, a cherished tradition for many local families.

From hands-on activities to open play at the beloved Caper Acres playground, the Spring Jamboree creates space for connection, laughter, and making memories. Whether you’re joining in on the fun or simply soaking up a sunny Chico morning, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“Holding events like the Spring Jamboree is one of the ways we bring our community together,” said Holli Drobny “It’s a chance at no cost to the public for families to connect, play, and celebrate the season in a welcoming space.”
