Get ready for a night of Halloween fun with Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD)’s “Movie in the Park” on Saturday, October 21st at DeGarmo Park. Enjoy Halloween-themed festivities including a costume contest, spooky scavenger hunt, face painting, and more before we host a viewing of the Halloween-favorite, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.

The festivities kick off at 5:00 P.M., with a lineup of engaging activities for all ages, made possible through our valued sponsors Members 1st Credit Union and Culligan Water. Come dressed in your spookiest costumes and participate in our costume contest for a chance to win exciting prizes. Delve into a spooky scavenger hunt, or simply enjoy the evening with a bike ride and utilize the free bike valet service provided by Chico Velo.

Hungry? Woodstock's Pizza will be onsite, serving up delicious slices and refreshing soda for purchase, while Corning Sweets tantalizes your taste buds with their mouthwatering shaved ice creations. Stay hydrated throughout the night with Culligan of Chico's convenient water station.

The movie screening of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania begins around 6:30 P.M., and admission is entirely free. We encourage you to arrive early, find a cozy spot, and immerse yourself in the cinematic experience under the stars. Don't forget to bring along blankets, bug spray, and a trusty flashlight for the ultimate movie-watching adventure.
