The Chico Area Recreation & Park District (CARD) announces the return of the Chico Ice Rink to Downtown Chico for the 2025-26 season. The rink opens Friday, November 14 at 3 PM and will operate daily through January 4. Tickets are now on sale at chicorec.gov/ice-rink-tickets.

Presented by CARD in partnership with the City of Chico, the seasonal ice rink has established itself as a beloved North State tradition, drawing families and visitors from throughout the region.

Tickets purchased online in advance are $12 per skater, while walk-up tickets at the rink are $15 per skater. CARD encourages advanced ticket purchases to secure preferred dates and times, as weekend sessions and special events frequently reach capacity.

The rink will feature festive lighting, field trips, private rental opportunities, adult ice sports programming, and special community events throughout the season.
