Park Explorers Survival Club

Calling all 3rd-5th graders to join the Park Explorers Survival Club for an outdoor adventure like no other! Each week, participants will set out to explore the wild spaces around the Chico Creek Nature Center — uncovering hidden trails, spotting local wildlife (and meeting the animals that live at the Nature Center!), and learning essential survival skills like navigation and shelter building. Through hands-on challenges, team games, and nature discoveries, every session brings a new adventure that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and fosters a deeper connection to the great outdoors.

Discover the wild side of learning at the Chico Creek Nature Center’s Voices of Nature: Saturday Series — a monthly adventure at the Living Animal Museum where curiosity comes alive! Each session spotlights a fascinating theme — from turtles and tortoises to birds, salamanders, snakes, frogs, endangered species, and field research — brought to life by passionate guest speakers and our Animal Care Naturalists.
