Inclusive Summer Camp

Join us at CARD’s  Inclusive Summer Camp! This indoor, inclusive summer camp is designed for children and teens of all abilities, communication styles, and mobility levels, with a focus on supporting campers living with disabilities or with higher support needs. Our program provides a predictable, structured, and welcoming environment where campers can participate in ways that work best for them.

Each day is filled with engaging, hands-on activities such as games, creative projects, movement, music, and social time, all adapted to meet individual needs. Campers are supported by inclusion staff who focus on safety, comfort, and positive participation, ensuring every child feels successful and included. Our structured yet flexible schedule allows campers to build confidence, make friends, and enjoy meaningful fun—without the pressure of a one-size-fits-all experience. Campers will have access to quiet spaces  to help feel safe, regulated, and successful.

Please note: CARD does not provide direct assistance with toileting, feeding and/or dressing. Participants needing this higher level of assistance are permitted to bring their own personal assistant to the program or activity (at no additional charge) to provide any necessary personal care. 

Each day, campers should bring a backpack with the following:

• A hearty snack
• A nutritious lunch
• Plenty of water
• Clothes and shoes that can get wet or messy
• An extra set of clothes
