A WICKEDly wonderful summer dance camp! Dance to the iconic songs of the hit musical while learning spellbinding choreography in jazz, lyrical, and musical theater. You’ll be ready to defy gravity in an Oz-tastic performance at the end of the camp.

Get ready for a week of ooey-gooey fun! In this hands-on camp, participants will dive into the world of slime and sensory-based art projects, creating a variety of textures, colors, and interactive experiments that ignite all the senses.

Introduce your child to the great outdoors at Chi-Da-Ca, CARD’s longest running camp! Kids can’t help but have fun, get dirty and come home worn out from all the activity that takes place in Hooker Oak Park by upper Bidwell Park. The week is spent singing camp songs, going on nature hikes, playing games and cooling off in the water.

This program provides outdoor exploration, builds friendships, and promotes a love for nature! Campers enjoy hands-on natural science labs, up-close animal visits, nature walks, arts and crafts, building tree forts, cooling off with water activities, and camp BBQ’s every Friday!

Can’t decide? Then get them both in the unique camp that will leave your camper wanting more. These two activities just go together like peanut butter and jelly. Enjoy some high energy dancing fun in our dance studio, then head over to our gymnastics gym to flip around.

Campers will have a ball learning and practicing gymnastics skills. Camp will include stretching, conditioning and teaching of drills to build strong gymnastics skills. Crafts, games and open gym time make this camp a winner.

Little Ninjas wrestling will include mat games, tumbling, basic wrestling instruction and live wrestling. Focus will be on fun while teaching the basic skills in the sport of wrestling.

A safe, indoor space for toddlers to explore, move, and play! Mini Movers Playtime is the perfect opportunity for little ones to burn off energy, practice gross motor skills, and socialize with other children in a fun, supervised environment. An instructor is present to ensure safety and provide support, but there is no formal instruction—just open-ended exploration with age-appropriate equipment, soft mats, and engaging play areas. This class encourages curiosity, confidence, and physical activity while giving parents a chance to connect with other caregivers in a relaxed setting. Every session ends with smiles, giggles, and happy little movers ready for more!

This camp is designed specifically for young kids who love to swing, climb and jump. We’ll guide them through learning a new obstacle course each day. Campers will practice strength, balancing and endurance exercises. With crafts, games and open gym time your kiddo will stay busy and get plenty of exercise! They’ll show off some obstacles at the end of camp.

Tie-Dye Camp offers the ultimate summer fun experience! Campers will begin by exploring color theory and experimenting with color mixing techniques of their choice. Next, they’ll dive into various folding and tying techniques, manipulating different materials through wet dyeing, dry dyeing, and ice dyeing methods. Each day, campers will create their own colorful masterpieces, which they’ll get to take home and share with friends and family.

Let them eat cake! In this camp, bakers will make delicious cakes and cookies. Then campers will learn to decorate the treats with buttercream they make in class with different types of piping tips, spatulas, sprinkles, edible glitter and more. Each day campers will be able to try their creations and take them home for family members.

Our Toddler Summer Camps for children ages 3-5, are led by our amazing, dedicated toddler staff and take place in our specially curated toddler classroom at the Dorothy F. Johnson Center.
