Lifeguarding with First Aid for Public Safety Personnel
Successful completion of this course certifies participants to be eligible to work at shallow and deep water facilities, including the 1-Mile Pool and Pleasant Valley Pool.
Lifeguarding with First Aid for Public Safety Personnel
This American Red Cross certification course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies. Participants will develop proficiency in water rescue techniques, CPR, AED use, and first aid — and upon completion will also earn First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) certification, meeting California Code of Regulations requirements for lifeguards, firefighters, peace officers, and other public safety professionals.
Certification is valid for two years. Participants must be at least 15 years old and pass a swimming skills prerequisite prior to the first class session.

Dates: April 6 - 12, April 20 - 26, May 4 - 10
Times: Monday - Friday (4:00pm - 8:30pm), Saturday - Sunday (8:30am - 5:00pm)

Lifeguard Training Review (Recertification)
This class is for Lifeguards who need to renew their current certificates. Participants must show proof of current Lifeguard certification.
Class is limited to the first 10 participants.
Fee: $175
Dates: May 21 - 24
Times: Thursday - Friday (4:00pm - 8:30pm), Saturday - Sunday (9:00am - 5:00pm)
