In this hands-on summer art camp, young artists are encouraged to use their imaginations to create faces, houses, sculptures, or whatever their minds can dream up. Using cardboard, found objects, paint, and supervised low-temp glue guns, campers will explore assemblage and three-dimensional art through playful experimentation.
This open-structured class ignites creativity by giving students the freedom to make their own choices, problem-solve as they build, and follow their curiosity. Open creation time supports confidence, independence, critical thinking, and creative risk-taking—while reminding kids that art can be both joyful and expressive. Campers will leave with unique artworks and a deeper trust in their own ideas.
